When an application is started by clicking on its desktop icon, the icon remains selected. It isn't so in MS Windows or KDE, where a desktop icon is automatically unselected after a launch.

Unselect the desktop icon after activating it

Unselects the icon after activating it. When activated by hitting enter, the "cursor" is set to NULL otherwise it will launch unselected icons.
