After suspending and waking up again there appears some empty space in the system tray next to the power manager icon. I'm having this problem in combination with stalonetray, a stand alone system tray. There is an Ubuntu bug report and a Debian bug report for the same problem. There are reports of the same problem using lxpanel (from LXDE), and using thin2, though apparently not using the xfce panel. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=626224 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxpanel/+bug/846878 This report might also be related https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7195
I have exprienced the same bug with lxde in debian 7 Wheezy . I have found a patch in debian bugs : http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=626224 There i found this patch : http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=156;filename=09_fix-insert-battery.patch;att=1;bug=626224
PD : i noticed that the patch it is already applyed in ubuntu . It would be great to solve it a soon as posible Thanks!!
The trayicon has been replaced by a panel-plugin in git master, hence this bug is fixed.
