While gphoto2 shows that my digital camera, thunar seems not to recognize the device, and does not allow to browse the content.

In the removable media option panel. these are the settings:

mount removable media
mount removable disk
browse removable disk

(sorry if translations does not match but I do have an italian version ...)

cavarretta@cavarretta-home:~$ gphoto2 --auto-detect

Note that Nautilus (Gnome) provides access to PTP cameras.

As a workaround, would it be possible to add some script launched when the check-box "import numeric photos at connection" (settings "removable disk and media", "cameras" ?

This script would use gphoto2 in order to mount a point and launch thunar to this location.
