Hello,
this is my first bug report, so please excuse me if the section and/or description is not correct.

I run xfce 4.8.2 on fedora 16. I've set shortcut for close program to alt+f4. I've noticed that if I press alt+f4 without window on focus the whole xfce4 session dies, all applications are killed and I'm dropped at the login manager.

If you need additional details I'm ready to provide them.

Best regards,
Tsvetomir

Assuming you have a full desktop running, if no window has focus, focus is set to the desktop (xfdesktop)

Pressing alt-F4 while the focus is on the desktop will (should) prompt for termination of the session.

Can you check in ~/.xsession-errors for any indication of a crash?

Note that if you have unchecked "Prompt on logout" in session's preferences dialog, that will log you out without prompting (but that's the desired behavior in that case).

Can you post the result of "xfconf-query -c xfce4-session -vl" ?

Sorry guys, "Prompt on logout" wasn't set. After checking it it shows the dialog. I believe this issue is invalid. Again, many apologies for wasting your time.
