Currently we have to install and open iotop to find out which process is thrashing the hard drive, it would be very helpful to have this in the regular task manager.

iotop seems to be a pretty simple python program.
Relevant file is here: http://repo.or.cz/iotop.git/blob/HEAD:/iotop/data.py
Unfortunately I'm not good at programming in C.
