More info in the downstream bug report. This looks pretty similar to bug 7643 which schould already be fixed in 0.2.2.

Backtrace shows a crash when chaining up the realize function of the parent crash, so this is IMO not the same thing as bug #7643. I don't see what I can do about that, I can't reproduce this here and it does not seem to be a bug in xfce4-notifyd's code.
