I use Squeeze 0.2.3, which was not available in the bug report Version menu. Squeeze silently disappears when I try to open a text file from within an archive. Here is my procedure: In Thunar: 1) Double-click on a file, e.g. filename.txt.bz2. Squeeze appears, showing the file filename.txt 2) Double-click on filename.txt, and answer "Open" in the resulting dialogue window. 3) Squeeze disappears, and no text editor appears with the file content. Ordinary text files are shown using "Geany" on my system, so I would expect Squeeze to open the text file in Geany, but this does not happen. In addition, Squeeze disappears. No log message is printed in ~/.xsession-errors. If I instead start Squeeze from a terminal, by running "squeeze filename.txt.bz2", it exists and prints "segmentation fault" when I click on "Open" in the same dialogue as described above. I use Thunar 1.2.3 on the current XFCE4.8 in Debian Sid. Best regards Torquil Sørensen
