It will be a nice adition to allow mute/unmute volume from the tray icon.

You can middle click the panel button in order to mute/unmute.

Nice option! I do not know that!

But I mean it will be nice the option appears on right-clic menu (it will be usefull for these user that can not imagine the middle clic do that). ;)

The option to mute shouldn't be duplicated, but currently it doesn't appear at all (indeed middle click is not a visible option).

We can add it in the right click menu for now, I guess it wouldn't be a problem. Patch is welcome of course.
