Created attachment 3830 Thunar thumbnails vs Nautilus thumbsnails It will be a nice improvement to make the thumbnails more elegant. The black border is too strong and the thumbnails size is too small. Some like nautilus it will be nice. Configuration tab on Thunar preferences will be awesome, but is not necessary.

Ctrl+[+-0] or hold Ctrl and use scroll wheel. The border color can be themed.
Closing as thunar-thumbnailers is deprecated/unmaintained/replaced by tumbler.
