If you right click on a panel plugin, and accidently select "Remove", the item
is deleted. It would be nice if the panel had a configurable option for
confirming deletes. Sometimes, it is trivial to recreate an entry, but
sometimes, if you have a launcher with a submenu, and you delete everything, it
can take a while to put it all back again.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

2.
3.

For launchers with a menu there should be a warning (unless the menu is empty).
If there isn't that sure is a bug.

I thought the current situation was a reasonable compromise between protecting
the user and patronising. Personally I find 'Are you really sure?' type dialogs
very annoying.

It seems as if I get the confirmation box now when deleting a launcher with a
menu. I'm not sure why I didn't get it before.

On the other hand, as you said, I do not get the confirmation box when deleting
other entries. While I can understand how this would be an annoying behaviour
to you, I'm sure that you can understand that some users might find the
confirmation helpful. Maybe a panel option for "confirm deletes" would give
everyone what they want?

I'm going to resolve this bug as WONTFIX. For 4.2 I don't want to change
anything unless it is absolutely necessary and for 4.4 there is a warning dialog
in all cases. Thanks for the report.
