When I click on the terminal (via taskbar), and terminal is maximized, randomly my screens (dual screens) go blank, and a few seconds later video gets restored.

It only happens with the terminal app. 

I get the following in the Xorg.0.log:
[622887.700] (II) NVIDIA(0): Setting mode "nvidia-auto-select,nvidia-auto-select"

This is on Gentoo, nvidia-drivers-275.09.07.
