Downstream report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=725083 "When the keyboard is unplugged, or the USB hub it is attached to is unplugged or powered down, all of the settings set by xfce4-keyboard-settings (including key repeat/delay and keyboard layout) are lost. When the keyboard is reconnected, it uses default values for key repeat/delay and layout. You have to go back into xfce4-keyboard-settings and change the repeat/delay up and down by 1 and toggle the layout to get the proper settings back again." Is there a way to save settings between unplug/plugin cycles?
+1 Happens every day with usb keyboard and laptop. (I'm a Dvorak user, so especially annoying to unlock X11 and fix every time.) Would be way more annoying to find and squash the bug though lol
Fixed in git master branch.
May I ask what version of xfce4-settings this fix would be expected to appear in? Thanks.
Seems to be http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-settings/commit/?id=8d24e58307a784fad26b3d1fa197dfeb641f15de was the commit that fixed this, but it doesn't apply at all to the 4.10.x branch. ;( Any chance we could get a 4.10.2 with this (and any other reasonable fixes) ?
