xarchiver is no longer developed as part of Xfce but at Sourceforge. Please file your request at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=browse&group_id=140153&atid=745600 There already are two bug reports about this http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2847624&group_id=140153&atid=745600 and http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2870510&group_id=140153&atid=745600 The first one was filed by the author of xarchiver himself, but so far nothing has happened. I am not sure that this bug report will change something.
