Screenshooter crashes immediately after start: %zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) xfce4-screenshooter If it is used as a panel plug-in it works fine.
This was likely fixed in commit 0dee91880c1cdb78a42ec0f4710c7457442ec34b on the git master branch. You can test this by applying those changes: http://git.xfce.org/apps/xfce4-screenshooter/diff/?id=0dee91880c1cdb78a42ec0f4710c7457442ec34b&context=1 It would be great if you could confirm that. If the above patch does not fix this issues, please provide a backtrace of the crash.
@Philipp: Can you give a feedback about this? Can you also provide a backtrace from gdb?
@Mike Massonnet: I'm very sorry, but I don't use Xfce anymore and I have no opportunity to do so at the moment; so I can't provide a function call stack. :(
No problem, for me the application starts without a crash, if it should happen again we will hopefully be assigned a new bug report :) I'm closing this one. Regards, Mike
