Description Ivan 2011-06-21 16:41:31 CEST
Setting:
Terminal v. 0.4.7, Fedora 15 x86-64
Default compatibility settings.

Bug description:
When I connect to a host via SSH, the password prompt doesn't appear until I press any key.

During the session when I create a new file with vim (`vim newfile.text`), the vim numbering and the statusline also don't appear until a key is pressed.

In other terminal emulator applications (gnome-terminal, xterm) the described behavior can not be reproduced while using the same OS and SSH configuration.

How to reproduce:
1) Open a Terminal.
2) Type 'ssh fedoraproject.org'.
3) Don't press anything and don't move the mouse cursor.
4) Now, press the Control key -- a prompt should appear.

Reopen if you can still reproduce this - seems move like a TERM setting issue.
