The problem occurs when you open a big directory which takes some seconds for the content to get displayed. When you want to select a file or folder by typing its name, while the folder is not completely processed, the small pop-up gets opened but when the content arrives thunar will not jump to / select the file / folder. It would be awesome if thunar would trigger typed search terms on finishing the loading process and keep the search term visible until the folder is fully loaded.
