I was the guilty party who wrote the wretched hacks in samples.txt and just found the wireless example posted to a website on May 7.  Both 'acpi' and 'iwconfig' parms and outputs have changed a bit over the years and neither of my examples work at this stage.  As there are much better example scripts included with the package, please remove samples.txt .  Leaving it in place will only confuse some poor sod.

Thanks for maintaining genmon!  It's still one of the best panel plugins in my opinion.
