Setup Dual monitors Steps to reproduce 1) create panel on screen 1 2) create panel on screen 2 3) add 'window buttons' plugin to panel 1 4) add 'window buttons' plugin to panel 2 5) configure both 'window button' plugins NOT to 'show windows from all monitors' 6) restart xfce session 7) open new window 8) window shown on both 'window button' containers Expected Result Window shown on monitor X 'window button' plugin and not shown on the other Actual result 'show windows from all monitors' not being respected and showing all windows from all monitors. Steps to fix 1) open offending 'window button' plugin options 2) tick and untick 'show windows from all monitors' Impact 3 seconds of my time Severity meh Reproduce ability 100%, at start of new session.

i don't know who over at fedora is packaging it, looks like the latest, is there a away i confirm without checking out the git? cheers
You have the latest version, xfce4-panel --version says so.
I'm having this same issue with xfce4-panel 4.8.0 (xfce 4.8.0); it seems to default to "show windows from all monitors" (I'm running 3 monitors thru 2 nvidia cards) and I have to check/uncheck the option to get it to work properly with a new desktop session.
That is an old panel version. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 7340 ***
