Hi,

When picking up an item from the applications menu, it should be possible to cancel the action by pressing "Escape".

This currently works when drag-n-dropping from Xfdesktop for example.

Kind Regards
Mike

Hello,

As told on IRC, I think GtkMenu grabs the keyboard (maybe for accelerators?) so you can't use keybindings when a menu is opened. The same issue occurs when you have a menu opened in a Gtk application and you want to use one of your global keyboard shortcuts.

Thus, I don't think we can do anything about that. Or I don't know :D

Cheers,

Jérôme

Hello

Ok I understand, still xfdesktop has the ability to stop the drag-n-drop, perhaps it is a feature from gtk+ that allows the action to be cancelled.

Please keep the bug Open so that you, me, or someone else can have a look :)

Thank you
Mike
