Created attachment 3565 Screenshot of the working and the broken Icon I have a LUKS encrypted Drive, which resides on a Raid-1 setup. Thunar correctly displays the Desktop Icon for mounting it. Double clicking the Icon brings up the Passphrase Enter Dialog. Supplying the correct passphrase correctly mounts the Drive. All seems fine, but the Icon on the Desktop for the Drive is changed to a "broken image" type icon (see attached screenshot). This happens for all Icon Sets and seems to work in GNOME.
Oh, on a side note, the correct icon for the unlocked mounted drive is displayed in the places sidebar in Thunar.
I think this is fixed since 4.10 Xfdesktop uses GIO, but haven't checked it.
Confirmed in xfdesktop4 4.10.2-3 in Debian unstable. How to reproduce: * Create a LUKS-encrypted USB drive (using for example gnome-disk-utility) * Fresh session, plug in the USB drive * Xfdesktop displays the "broken" icon (translucent when unmounted, opaque when mounted) It should display the same icon as Thunar's sidebar does.
Fixed in master: http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfdesktop/commit/?id=d98a8fddf4a0a875ea4843bcff5f69b9f6254c53 Please test and report back.
Works fine here. I'll close this bug as fixed then.
