This is a change feature request:
Using xfce4-panel & xfwm4 alone (so without xfdesktop4 & co.), I noticed an
annoying thing:
xfce4-panel is a very powerfull application, but everytime i use my launchers,
something struck me: that " + Add launcher" instructions which is so bold and
long , for example i have 1 launcher with many sub-launchers attached to it, my
apps are mostly named like "ffox" or "abiw" etc.. while i have a big "+ Add
launcher" always there. For people that use xfce4-panel seriously (like me, i
just have xfce4-panel and xfwm4 manager, that's all, running via startx), this
is really annoying.

So my question is:
Is it possible to move this instructions to somewhere else, possible the item
property itself or somewhere in xfce-setting-show, which probably looks more
reasonable than seeing it 600 times a day right in every launcher with attach
menus you make.

Thanks for all the good works!

Danny

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right Click on xfce4-panel and choose "add new item"
2. choose "launcher" and click "add" then choose "attach menu to launcher"
3. now everytime you click on that launcher in panel, you have to see a big,
long " Add to launcher" there, first times it's ok but after some days or weeks,
it is just in the way.

Actual Results:
Some stuff are very small but when you get addicted to xfce4-panel, watching
this little annoying things everyday for hundred times, it really gets to your
nerves though ;-)

Expected Results:
Please, move "+ Add launcher" functionality from launchers with attachments to
their own item property or better, to xfce-setting-show

Agreed. I'm working on that for 4.4. I don't think it will be in 4.2, but who knows.

It's not a 'blocking' issue though... set to enhancement. Thanks.

Won't fix for 4.2, but this is not a problem in the development version in SVN
(4.3).
