3.followed instructions by Actionparsnip
Actual Results:  
printer not working and packages missing

Expected Results:  
working printer and time manager

it should install printer and scanner

This bug isn't related to Xfce. Please use "apport" to file bugs against Ubuntu (or go on launchpad.net).
