create a panel that would be my number 3 panel did you put it transparent and application menu button. then try to close, but every time I close me off the process of xcfe4-panel and I have to restart from the terminal and out the latest changes

I use the ppa for ubuntu the 4.8

That's not very helpful; run "xfce4-panel -V" in a terminal for the panel version.
