The title says it all.

There should be a command-line tool to clear/get contents of the clipboard, or a file/folder that contains them.

The main purpose is that it would allow cleaners like bleachbit to clear the clipboard, which is currently not possible with clipman (I don't even know where the copied text strings are stored.. memory?).

For now the only way to clear the clipboard is to show it's contents by clicking the clipman icon, and then click erase. It's like if you had to display your browser's history to clear it...

Thanks

I like the idea.

On another hand, who will use a "hidden" action to clear the history? The history is currently availble at one place only, where you can actually clear it.

Closing the bug for now, feel free to reopen by giving more information.

Cheers
Mike
