Created attachment 3491 libxfce4ui port Attached patch ports places plugin to libxfce4ui. I had to change gtk_widget_show to gtk_widget_show_all for config dialog because, after porting, this dialog showed empty window. I think I also found a bug in panel, looks like plugin coordinates are not updated after move, places menu opens where the plugin was originally added to panel, not where it was moved to.
Mass-reassign all bugs from florian@ to goodies-dev@, thanks for the maintenance work! (and sorry for the bugmail spam..)
