Output of the commandline after trying to run xfce4-settings-helper

Hello all, I'm on standard x86 hardware, nothing funky, Xubuntu 10.10.

I noticed that as of the last week, my keyboard shortcuts wouldn't work; after doing a little research, I found that xfce4-settings-helper wasn't running.

Upon trying to start it from the terminal, as root or as a user, I got the following output:

$ xfce4-settings-helper
andrew@Quark:~$ *** glibc detected *** xfce4-settings-helper: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0x0932c864 ***

I've attached the full backtrace and output, but I've tried reinstalling the xfce4-settings package via aptitude, and still a no-go.

What can I do about this, or to help fix this?

Thanks for your help,
Andrew
