Please, add functionality in Thunar file manager for set a custom folders icons. Sample: custom icon for music folder, etc.

I was looking for this feature too.

A workaround is:

$ grep PICT ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs
XDG_PICTURES_DIR="$HOME/Bilder":"$HOME/priv/Bilder"

But this only works after re-login. XDG is nice for default trees for new users. Changing the icon of my own folder somewhere would be a job for the context menu.
