System: Aurox 9.2 GForce 4 MX 400 Xfce4.0.2 I can ONLY run Xfce after "telinit 3", login as root and typing startxfce4. In all other cases an error window appear that my window menager isn't compatible with "freedesktop.org." and can work incorectly. Xfce4 starts up, but without xfwm :( I didn't touch the xinitrc file. Thanks Olivier! Everytking is working now. Can you tell my why /usr/share/xfwm4 mode was set to 700? My friend installed it (on the same OS) in the same way and he didn't heve any problems :/
