When installing a plugin under lib/xfce4/panel/plugins, I feel like it should be provided as a lib (X-XFCE-Module) and not as an executable binary (X-XFCE-Exec). Plus the panel currently supports the old location.

@Nick can you correct me?

True, executables in libexecdir *.so in libdir.

Thank you Nick.  So unless the plugin is build as a library, this is not a bug.
