Hey,

using transparency on the 4.8 panel looks weird with the session menu added. Attached screenshot shows what I mean, but basically the session menu doesn't have any alpha component.

Rebuilding against xfce4-panel 4.8.1 didn't fix the problem (while it worked for orage).

That's because most plugin use an event box as first child, this plugin uses a GtkMenuBar.

Probably not much you can do about this. Might be better to focus on merging this plugin with the actions plugin in the panel.
