So I enabled the option in Xubuntu to redefine menu accelerators by moving the cursor over them and pressing a key combination. This works only until the current window is open and doesn't get saved in a file accels.scm or something. I particularly like to map [Ctrl]+something to [Super]+something which enables me to work somewhat like on a Mac with [Commmand] key on the standard PC keyboard.
Sorry, but I don't know how to enable this option. Is it Xubuntu specific? Anyhow, Mousepad has been rewritten since then, so I think this bug might not be valid anymore. Please confirm.
You just need to add this to your gtk configuration: gtk-can-change-accels = 1 Anyway, it seems to work fine in 0.3.0 ;)
(In reply to alister.hood from comment #2) > You just need to add this to your gtk configuration: > > gtk-can-change-accels = 1 > > Anyway, it seems to work fine in 0.3.0 ;) I see, changing this option in <xfce4-settings-editor -> xsettings -> Gtk -> CanChangeAccels> to TRUE works like a charm in Mousepad 0.3.0 therefore I'm closing this bug, if someone still have this problem, please reopen.
