Hi there,

I noticed that version 0.5.1 of the the battery panel plugin doesn't work when the deprecated ACPI power nodes are disabled in the kernel (CONFIG_ACPI_PROCFS_POWER disabled).

I'm using vanilla-sources-2.6.35.4. ACPI power nodes in /proc is deprecated and have been moved into sysfs. Both battery and ac_adapter information can now be found under /sys/class/power_supply/ (ACAD and BAT1 in my case).

The plugin doesn't seem to have any code to get information from the sysfs files.

Greets,
Tobias

Hmm, looks like I was wrong. Removing the plugin from the panel and creating a new one did the trick. Charge is 91% which fits with the values from /sys/class/power_supply/BAT1.#
