Can't browse user directories with root

When running as root, it is not possible to browse inside user directories when they contain a ".gvfs" sub-directory.

I get the following error: "Error stating file '/home/mike/.gvfs': Permission denied."

Is this bug still valid in Thunar master or 1.1.4? I remember issues like that but it seems that I'm able to browse home directories as root just fine now, even with gvfs-fuse installed an in action. Perhaps this was fixed in a more recent version of GIO or GVfs? I'm using 2.26.0/1.6.4 here.

Nay, this is related to console-kit-mess.

Using console-kit, when I now enter a home directory with .gvfs mounted I can see it as a file, so in other words I can browse user directories without problems.
