Hi,

It would be great to see the actual dB setting of each of the sliders while adjusting them, or whenever there's a mouse-over. This helps a lot when trying to pinpoint overlevel distortion problems and is one of the benefits of the good old alsamixer.

A simpler alternative could be a detent indicator at the 0dB level on each scale.
e.g. On my system,
Master ranges from -46.5dB to 0dB but
PCM ranges from -34.5dB to +12dB,
so setting all faders to 80 percent or some other arbitrary level is never optimal. However, being able to see that all faders are set to 0dB, or even having a button to do that without toggling the mute switches, would be a very nice feature to have...

Thanks for reading,
Cheers.

Unfortunately gstreamer only exports volumes as meaningless integer values, so this is not possible.
