I'm using xfdesktop with GNOME. I have disabled desktop of GNOME (on the nautilus preferences).

xfdesktop doesn't start with auto starting. But it can be started manually.

Workaround: I made script and add it to auto starting:
sleep 4
xfdesktop

This might be relate also how GNOME auto starts applications, but every other applications I have started with auto start works.

Can you still reproduce this problem (or do you still care) in 4.10.x?

Hello, as there has been no info provided since this bug was opened 4 years ago, I'll assume this is not reproducible with current versions. Feel free to reopen/comment on this bug if the problem still occurs.

Thanks
