This bug has been reported on Ubuntu Launchpad as: https://launchpad.net/bugs/553121 The RAM bar in the Systemload applet doesn't get colored. But in the Tooltip it does show me the RAM usage. At some session it does get colored, at some sessions not.. I'm the original poster of the problem in launchpad. Forget it, thats just because of a thin panel, and it only can (obviously) ad a line of the hight of a pixel. Oh, how about the possibillity to show the RAM-Usage on pixelbase instead of linebase? (So if the panel is under a special hight, it adds pixel and not only lines)
Of course nothing is impossible, but this wouldn't fit with the way the current code works, so I am not going to add that, at least not soon.
