the summary is self explaining.
It would be great if there was an option in notes context menu to print them.
Thanks !

Would you be OK with an “Open with...” menu item to show the notes inside a more advanced text program? I don't feel like printing notes is something that fits right into a post-it application because of their small layouts.

Yes, that seems to be a good compromise between lightness and usability.
Thanks !

Maybe better would be to 'Open folder containing notes'? Then the user can simply open the files with a preferred text editor and print.

This means 3 operations for printing (open folder, open in editor, print) instead of 2, but that would be OK since, for me, printing notes is not such a frequent action.

The added value of Open Folder would be:
- It would be used to open the folder of a _Group_, and not individual notes. If you need to print more than one tab, that would be useful.
- It would educate the user that the notes are simply text files on the FS that can be backed up using apps like SpiderOak or Dropbox
- It would allow the user to open the text files using their editor of choice, as configured in their preferred FM.

Besides, it seems to me that there is less overhead to add a Open Folder functionality than a Open With that brings up a relevant list of choices.
