When setting names for workspaces in the workspace settings dialogue and it is preceded by a number, it wont display with middle mouse click. Example:

1 Foospace
or
1: Foospace

won't work. While (1) Foospace does work.

Well, this is not an enhancement but a bug.

And it's not xfwm4 nor the settigns dialog, it,s xfdesktop, xprop -root shows the name being set properly.

If not convinved, just set "show workspace name" in the pager and you'll see the name is set as expected, so the problem is with the middle-click menu.

Hi,

I tried with last xfdesktop release (4.7.2), and the problem is still present, but I've more informations.
If the workspace name begin with the number of the workspace, for example "1 Foospace" for workspace 1, the bug is here.
But with "10 Foospace", there is no bug.
Same for "2 Foospace" on workspace 2 etc…
