Hi, This started happening a week or two ago. The following buttons disappear from the panel once or twice a day and I have to re-add them: xfce menu 'places' button orange clock mixer plugin But these other buttons don't disappear, I have no idea why: 'hide windows and show desktop' button 3 shortcut buttons i added to open firefox, opena terminal, and a launcher that executes xrandr to change to my second monitor. 'workspace switcher' xfce4 power manager network manager applet iBus another xrandr launcher and the logout button. I'm running karmic and my machine is a 701 eee pc. Does anyone else have this same problem? I'd rather not re-install ... Thanks
I really need some more information here. Any information in the xsession log or tty1 (depends on how you start Xfce).

I would love to give you some more information and help find the cause of the problem ... but the day after I logged this problem, the whole system decided to die and I lost all my data and had to re-install. And now I'm running standard ubuntu and not xubuntu ... Sorry!
In that case I'm closing the bug. This will most likely be fixed in the new panel since it auto restarts plugins.
Fair enough. I had all sorts of issues with xubuntu, but I'll give it another try in the next version.
