Description KitchM 2010-02-27 00:51:08 CET
At the command line, this message (among others) appears:
 (xfce4-settings-helper:1771):GLib-GObject-CRITICAL**:g_object_class_install_property:assertion 'G_IS_PARAM_SPEC (pspec)' failed.

This can be viewed by using Ctrl-Alt-F1, after the DE has been up started up and is running on Arch Linux.

Questions that come to mind include: What does it mean? How should the user address this sort of thing?

Thank you.

Thanks a lot for your bug report.

I used to have this bug but recent glib/gtk upgrades seem to have fixed this. Can you confirm?

Cheers,

Jérôme

No, I cannot.

We don't install properties in any of the helper's properties, so this must be triggered from another library.
