The /usr/share/icons/hicolor/index.theme file aren't created. Some icons on dektop menu aren't showed, until the icon theme changed to the Rodent theme. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. compile the modules 2. install the modules 3. run xfce and see the menu. this isn't relevant anymore (as of 4.2rc3), as the icon theming code now doesn't care if hicolor has an index.theme or not. if it doesn't, it'll use a local copy installed to $datadir/xfce4/hicolor-index.theme. note that all other icon themes require an index.theme to be recognised; it's just hicolor that's handled separately.
