hey there, i recently saw nautilus' pathbar being themed to look like this: http://xfce-look.org/CONTENT/content-pre2/119715-2.jpg of course this is not a real usability improvement, but it looks quite nice imho. i thought this should be possible with thunar too so i started to dig around a bit and found that the thunar-wiki states that for the pathbar there's only the option "spacing" (source: http://thunar.xfce.org/pwiki/documentation/advanced_settings) i just tried to theme the pathbar with pixmaps anyway, but since that had no effect, i assume the description in the wiki is not just (too) short but also accurate. that's why i thought i'd file this bugreport to draw some attention to the issue and if it's easily fixable i think this would open the door for a simple yet nice visual improvement of thunar.
Is this still an issue? If so, what should be improved?
No, in fact I just didn't know enough about Gtk in 2010. Had totally forgotten about this bugreport. (What I wanted to do at the time is breadcrumbs, what is currently in Greybird is the closest you can get to that with normal buttons.)
