Description umkowa17 2004-12-28 06:17:41 CET
When changing User Interface themes, the desktop background is replaced with a
solid colour that varies from theme to theme, rather than using the normal
Desktop settings. The regular desktop image is restored by changing anything in
the Desktop settings applet.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter the Xfce Settings Manager
2. Enter User Interface
3. Change to another theme

Actual Results:
The theme changed, and my background image was changed

Expected Results:
The theme should change, retaining my background image

er, AFAIK, this is fixed in rc3.

Do you use the debian packages?
Comment 3 Benedikt Meurer editbugs 2004-12-28 15:31:05 CET
Yep, the problem is with the xfdesktop4 debian package, that wasn't properly
synced with the last-time xfce-desktop.c fix. Please apt-get update;apt-get upgrade.
