Yesterday I compiled core xfce4 components (and also some plugins and apps) from their git sources. Everything seems to be working fine, except xfdesktop. When I set "icon type" to "file/launcher icons" the icons are not drawn - desktop is empty and the following message is on stderr:

** (xfdesktop:21901): CRITICAL **: Unusable XfceDesktopIconStyle: 2.  Unable to display desktop icons.

I tried removing xfce4-desktop.xml and the icon rc but it didn't help. Worked fine in 4.6.1.

I'm on Arch Linux.

Hi,

With current 4.7 version, all is OK.
Git versions can have some functionnality bugs.
I think this issue can be closed.
