Description IroNiQ 2004-12-21 12:26:13 CET
I've upgraded the gtk2 to 2.6. The problem started when I rebuilt the xfce with
this version of gtk2 and I got the problem that if I click on the desktop to get
run a program from the menu, the program started but the menu didn't disappear.
I've downgraded the gtk2 to 2.4 and the Xfce didn't work after then, so I had to
reinstall the previous version of xfce which was built with gtk2 2.4. You can
see the problem on the screenshot. I've noticed, that if I run xfdesktop, the
menu disappears and everything works well till I call the menu.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build the xfce with gtk2 2.6
2. Click on the desktop to call the menu
3. Click on the desktop to disappear the menu -> won't disappear

This has been fixed in CVS and will be in the upcoming RC3 release, which is
planned for December 23.

I expect there may be a few other gtk 2.6 problems.

Thanks.
