Xfburn takes too long for adding files to a new data composition

When creating a new data disc with the function "New Data Composition" it takes far too long to add files and directories to this composition.

I selected several directories, which take about 298 MB in total, in the file manager on top of the window and dragged them to the composition window below. It took 5 minutes until the first 55 MB were added to the composition. Then I aborted it.

Adding the whole 298 MB should take only a few seconds or a minute maximum as it takes with K3b.

Thanks for the report. There certainly are some inefficiencies in the way files are added right now, but I haven't ever had it be that slow.

Can you tell me how many files there are in these directories?

Hadn't thought that a simple backup of just some system configuration files and some Xfce themes, wallpapers etc. has so many directories and files.

That's what Krusader says:
4215 directories
45436 files
