Hello, i have been searching the bugzilla if anything similar have been reported and i could not find anyone. So i took the liberty to make a new bug-report.
Well my problem is that CD/DVD drives that have spaces in their label. 
Example *Backup 09* It won't be shown in thunar. However HAL picks up those dics and mounts them in /media without any problem.

Just for some troubleshooting i tried both CD's & DVD's without any spaces in the label and thunar-volman showed those up properly. so my guess is that thunar-volman does not like labels with spaces.
