This happened when I was trying to move some JPEG from my Android Phone to harddisk. It seems this error only occurs, when a file already exists and I tell Thunar to overwrite that file.
The attached file contains a backtrace.

Addition: It also occurs when trying to delete the file from the device. So it most likely is an issue with reading/removing the file from the source. The filesystem is vfat. I've checked the device with fsck and everything was ok.
