There is a bug reported against Fedora's Thunar-volman package, I have spoken
with the package maintainer and we wanted to post this upstream in hopes that
it would get some upstream developer attention.

Fedora Bugzilla entry:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=527527

The bug presents itself during the liveCD installation due to what is assumed
to be a partition that has just been created by the Anaconda installer.

It appears the the Gnome folks ran into something similar due to a hal-lock
issue, bug:

xsession-errors uploaded and attached.

Nightly composes are available here for testing purposes:

Mass reassign. Nick, please check these pending reports. Thx.

Is this still reproducible (or even relevant) given the changes to underlying infrastructure that handles mounting of volumes?

Bug #5838
