Hi.

I compile xfce4-panel-plugin-5.5 whit xfce 4.6.1, gcc 4.4.1 and glibc 2.10.1 in
my LFS box.When open session mount plugin crash inmediatly whit this message in
.xsession-errors file


libxfce4panel-Message: Mount devices: screen changed: 0

libxfce4panel-Message: No valid plug window.

(xfce4-panel:330): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_socket_get_id: assertion
`GTK_WIDGET_ANCHORED (socket)' failed

(xfce4-panel:330): libxfce4panel-CRITICAL **: An item was unexpectedly removed:
"Mount devices".

sorry, this doesn't help anything. as everything runs pretty smooth on both custom and package installations I suspect your installation of the plugin is somehow broken. try the following recipe:

make uninstall
locate / find remaining installations in different folders than the expected ones, i.e. /usr/local vs. /usr
./configure --help
-> enable debug
make install
xfce4-panel -q / xfce4-panel -x
xfce4-panel
-> view output

GDB backtrace missing, no more comments given, seems to have been due to an invalid/improper installation
